Her conception took place on 29 March 1985 at Roswell in New Mexico. Her given name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her parents are Mexican as well as American. Her desire to play sports began as a small child. Gerina began golfing when she was fifteen years old. Gerina graduated from high school in Goddard High School. In the high school level, she was able to win at the New Mexico state golf tournament.
